Teragren®
It's hard to deny the vastness of Teragren's empire. Opened in 1994, they are one of the original companies to import and distribute bamboo flooring. Today they have distribution centers in every state and offer a full line of quality bamboo flooring, moldings, and veneers. Their customer service seems to vary depending on location, but over all they are fairly easy to work with. Of note is that you can only purchase their products through one of their distributors which adds the dreaded "middle man" bump to their prices.

Plyboo®
Smith and Fong have a quality company in Plyboo®. Established in 1989 Plyboo is one of if not the first importers of bamboo flooring and products. Headquartered in San Francisco, CA; Plyboo® has 3 strategically placed warehouses on the West Coast and 1 in the East making it easier to get your products fast. The customer service department does a good job of answering your questions. They offer an extensive line of bamboo and other floors; however, their moldings are fairly basic and their quality is good. Like Teragren®, you can only purchase Plyboo® through one of their distributors which means you're paying more for their products than for other brands of similar quality.

Bamboo Mountain®
In 1997 they started with specialized projects, later making unique furniture and formaldehyde free glue. Bamboo Mountain® is a cost friendly supplier who will ship directly to home owners and commercial contractors. Their customer service is average but worth the price. Overall their flooring is of good quality but the moldings are sometimes unappealing and over priced compared to the flooring.

EcoTimber®
Since 1992 EcoTimber® has been a reliable source for many types of hardwood flooring. Most of their customer service is top notch and they have convenient local dealers in most places. EcoTimber® is a large company with many facets, so many in fact that bamboo is not their strong point. They have a good quality line of flooring that is very eco-friendly, unfortunately you'll be seeing this reflected in the price, and it can be beat for the quality.

Ambient®
Being somewhat of a newcomer to the bamboo flooring scene, Ambient® seems to have hit the ground running. In the top tier for quality and with competitive pricing that rivals the big box/depot companies, they've also pioneered unique products like radiant heat bamboo flooring and a handscraped strand woven floor. Direct to consumer selling makes it a great choice and considering the top-notch quality, prices are very reasonable. Customer service seems to be very informative, honest, and friendly. Notes of interest are that the company has only been around since 2005 and they're not open on weekends.

Lumber Liquidators®
Their advertisements can be seen everywhere from the internet to billboards to blockbuster movies. Their negative reviews can be found everywhere too. Lumber Liquidators® are just that, liquidators; they find an array of different products for cheap prices and move them as fast as possible. The customer service can't tell you the specifics on your bamboo flooring because it comes from different sources. You might pay the least for your flooring at Lumber Liquidators®, but if you have any problems or need to match moldings it will be time to pay the difference with an added headache.

Fast Floors®
Sells big name flooring on their website for decent prices. The customer service is on par with the rest, but you better know what you're talking about before calling, with so many other products they just don't have enough education on bamboo flooring. Some of the companies that Fast Floors® distributes have quality products, but there are no moldings listed on their site.

eFloorz®
Is an online retailer that has spread its wing to include brick and mortar store fronts. eFlooz® offers a few lines of bamboo flooring for competitive prices. They also offer several other lines of different kinds of flooring. If you find a product that you like they can save you some money, but if you are looking for selection or top quality, shop elsewhere.

Lowes®
Has a decent selection when it comes to bamboo flooring and they sometimes have installation crews to put the floor down. However, the quality suffers do to prematurely manufactured bamboo and insufficient finish, they lack molding selection, and the crews are often unreliable. As with most other durable goods the big box stores should usually be avoided for bamboo flooring.

Hawa®
Has taken many steps to grow their company since 1993 and have a unique line of products. They have their own factory in Northern China that produces White Oak for flooring, when it comes to bamboo, your choices are somewhat limited and their molding selection is sub-par. They score low on customer service as customer complaints are often lost in the mix due to language barriers. This company also sells through it's distributors so the price can be beat.

Eco-Friendly Flooring®
Offers everything under the sun when it comes to environmentally friendly flooring, everything from recycled tiles, to bamboo and cork, to linoleum and stones. With so much to offer, the service suffers. Their website is light on information and shipping times and communication could improve.

Duro Design®
Brings you Bamboo, Cork, Engineered Oak, and European Eucalyptus flooring, all of which come in a wide variety of colors. If you are looking for a custom color or European Eucalyptus, you're not going to find a better company. Considering the finish and the Janka ratings of their bamboo, it's hard to rate them in the top tier for quality, and for the price, there are certainly other options.

Bamboo Advantage®
A great company that has a lot to offer in the way of eco-friendly design. They sell bamboo flooring, furniture, veneers, and cabinets and they all look great. The people are friendly and knowledgeable. The overall pricing of their bamboo flooring products is average, but so is the quality.
